Bhundoo is the aboriginal name for the Clyde River.
Bhundoo Lodge has three bedrooms, bathroom (with bath and shower), fully equipped kitchen (with Rayburn wood-burning stove, gas oven and cook top, and fridge), dining area, and large open plan living area. The bathroom has a toilet and shower. There is another toilet outside, and a car port.
The lodge has both solar and wood-fire heated hot water, and 240v power provided by solar cells (or by a backup generator if the sun has been hiding for a few days!).
The main bedroom contains a queen size bed. The other two bedrooms each have two single beds, allowing spacious accommodation for six people. With prior notice, additional beds can be added to accommodate up to eight people.
The living area has a wood-burning heater. There is a large wrap around verandah with a gas BBQ. Wood is provided for the stove and heater.
NOTE: Bhundoo Lodge is currently unavailable for guest bookings.
